"The original Mission Wicked Light skates were produced in 2001 and earned a reputation as a classic model that continues to stack up well against subsequent models and more recently manufactured skates from competitors. The reissued model is just as timeless and is fastidiously reminiscent of the 2001 Mission Wicked Light ViBE skates, with a few modifications. The ViBE chassis have been replaced with the 80/76 Hi-Lo Penetrator chassis which are lightweight, rigid and sturdy enough to give you optimal support and durability.

The Royalskin Glass boot is particularly stiff and may take a few extra hours of hard skating to break in completely, but you can rest assured that the boot will hold its form and provide great ankle support – game, after game without breaking down on you. The glass mesh outsole is wicked stiff, also, so even the big guys can skate with confidence in their boots. Labeda Millennium X-Soft 74A wheels are perfectly appropriate in conjunction with the Wicked Light skates since they’re considered classics in their own right. Put all of the pieces together and you’ve got yourself a wicked pair of skates that will simultaneously take you back to your heydays and to the top of today’s high-performance market."
